Atlanta rapper, Young Thug, has been identified as the alleged gunman in an incident that occurred in 2013.

According to HipHopDX, an unknown woman pointed him out as the one who had the gun at the time of the incident.

On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, the prosecution team played a recording of a 911 call that occurred on September 11, 2013, by an unidentified woman at the trial.

As the call was being played, the woman identified the artiste, whose real name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams, as the shooter of a mutual friend, before going ahead to say she wasn’t sure of who it could be.

“They came to my house and told me that the guy who shot somebody’s name was Young Thug, whoever that’s supposed to be,” the woman said in the recording, while also making clear that the injured friend was not in immediate danger.

The trial has seen many twists and turns and at a point, defense attorney, Nicole Fegan, who represented Tenquarius Mender, was arrested on gang-related charges on February 16, 2024.

Law enforcement officials claimed that Fegan shared information with the suspect at a preliminary hearing that there were active warrants for his arrest. She also allegedly told the unidentified person, who was not one of her clients, to “dispose of his phone as police were going to arrest him.”

Following her arrest and subsequent incarceration at the Fulton County Jail, her Instagram page became the focal point of those interested in the case, as she had photos on the page in which she was posing with guns, money, and quotes from the late rapper, Big L.

In other news, one of Young Thug’s former co-defendants has testified that the rapper, along with five others, are “gangsters” and official members of the Young Slime Life gang.

The Independent reports that Trontavious Stephens, who accepted a plea deal in 2022, took the stand in the Georgia courtroom and sought to implicate his former crew in a damning testimony.

For the past few days, Stephens, who also goes by “Tick” and “Slug,” revealed that he co-founded the YSL organization along with Young Thug and Walter Murphy and the organization has gang ties.
