Former president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, reportedly spent his final days in the White House being upset with rapper, Snoop Dogg

Trump’s alleged beef with the rapper was so intense that it reportedly kept him distracted from his official duties, and ended up creating a chaotic situation in the Oval Office. Per a report by Rolling Stone, Trump’s fury nearly “killed clemency for Harry-O,” which Snoop had been advocating hard for.

Before the release of the news report, Snoop Dogg was in the headlines in recent times and openly spoke about his “love and respect” for the former leader, with whom he had a bitter feud during the early days of his presidency, before having a change of heart.

Back in the year 2017, Snoop allegedly bashed Trump and released the single, M.A.C.A. (Make America Crip Again), in response to Trump’s phrase MAGA (Make America Great Again).

About three to four years later, the rapper began working with the White House to gain executive clemency for some federal prisoners, which included rappers who were close to him, such as Death Row Records co-founder, Michael “Harry-O” Harris, who had been behind bars for three decades.

The Rolling Stone adds that in his final days in office, Trump recalled some of Snoop’s past comments and it reportedly had him so riled up in the evening of January 18, 2021, the same day that he taped a farewell address to America.

After paperwork had already been filed for clemency for Harris, Trump was reportedly reminded of Snoop’s past comments about him, causing him to rescind his decision about the incarcerated rapper.

However, activist Weldon Angelos, who was filming a documentary based on Harris’ clemency campaign, fortunately, had footage of Snoop “saying complimentary things” about Trump, causing him to have a change of heart as well. The following day, Trump’s last in office, Harris was declared a free man.
