Celebrity couple, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith caused a stir when it was announced that they have split up, but an insider reports that the incident did little to bring them down, especially in the entertainment industry.
According to the source, the couple is staying positive, despite the Red Table Talk host dropping the bombshell that Jada and the King Richard star have been separated since 2016.
The insider noted “they aren’t afraid of hard work” when it comes to their relationship and their careers.
“Yes, they’re separated, but they still consider themselves an important team and a force in Hollywood. Time would tell if that proves to be the case,” they added.
Despite the couple’s separation, Jada is convinced the two of them will never officially get a divorce as reported by Ok!.

In another interview to promote her book, Jada explained how Will’s infamous Academy Awards slap actually ‘saved’ their marriage.
She revealed that she almost didn’t attend the Oscars that year, but she is glad she did. About Smith slapping the host, Chris Rock, she indicated that several positive things came out of it.
According to her, after all the years she took to decide if she would leave him, it took the slap for her to see she would want to stay by his side.
An insider also revealed how Will Smith felt about Jada airing their dirty laundry. According to sources, it has been difficult for Will to stand by and hear all the things Jada has been saying about their relationship.
Reports say that a part of Will wants to believe they can work things out, and at the moment, they are giving each other space to figure things out.
