Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed that together with Will Smith, she intends to sue Brother Bilaal, who claimed Will Smith and Duane Martin were physically involved.

Brother Bilaal made the claims during an interview with Tasha K and it has sparked nationwide debate.

However, 52-year-old Set It Off star, during an interview with The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy, indicated that “It is based around this person’s idea that they, in some way, were doing business around Will’s book, and that they spent money or whatever, and that they needed to be compensated. So he tried to do this money shakedown. Will was willing to give him a certain amount, and he didn’t take it. So this whole situation is based on that.”

Jada’s threat to sue follows a report by vibe.com, which states that Bilaal shared the story about his “former friend” while interviewing on a recent podcast episode of Unwine with Tasha K.

In a promo clip for the episode that aired Wednesday, Bilaal detailed that while looking for Smith one day at a studio, he finally found him in Martin’s room “having anal sex.”

Though Will Smith is yet to publicly respond to the claim, his representative shared a statement, dismissing the allegation, saying it is “completely fabricated and unequivocally false.”

Meanwhile, music and movie star, Cardi B, has reportedly jumped to Will Smith’s defense in the face of the allegations, saying: “I don’t like what people be doing to Will Smith. I be feeling like Will Smith is very unproblematic and I feel like he has a nice heart, and that’s the thing. I found out that Will Smith is a Libra…Libras, we be getting tried, we be getting tried.”

Cardi B then went ahead to call out bloggers who refuse to research the validity of claims made against people, adding that she knows how it feels to be berated publicly over false claims, and the possible effect on one’s mental health
