Even though Tiffany Haddish’s legal problems with DUIs have been officially resolved, the Nobody’s Fool actress is still coping with the fallout.

Following her contentious Thanksgiving 2023 DUI arrests, Tiffany talked candidly about her sobriety journey in a recent interview on the podcast Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet.

The Like A Boss star pleaded no contest to reckless driving and took a plea deal, which resulted in her getting the two misdemeanor charges dropped altogether. Her charges were reduced to “wet reckless,” which means Haddish’s license won’t be suspended like it would have been had she been officially charged with a DUI.

Tiffany’s attorney said in a statement to People at the time that “Ms. Haddish has agreed to a simple vehicle code violation (not driving under the influence, which has been dismissed) and looks forward to this being behind her.”

But Tiffany recently discussed it in an interview revealing she has a problem, but it was not alcohol.

She disclosed that she’d been taking charge of her health and getting a grip on her relationship with alcohol, which she describes as “not that hard.”

Haddish then clarified, “It’s not that hard because it wasn’t like my main thing anyway. You know what I discovered to be my primary concern? Beef, chicken, pork, and sweets.”

When asked if she thought of herself as sober, Tiffany responded, “I consider myself to be obedient to the law. It is required by law. I’ve been waiting for my Georgia hearing for the past two years, and what transpired in Los Angeles set Georgia off.”

The Girls Trip actress talked about her relationship with marijuana use, stating that it was solely a way for her to cope with her endometriosis diagnosis. But in its place as she’s now started a more raw vegan regimen.
