Taylor Swift Garners Whopping 26.1bn To Beat Drake, Others On 2023 Spotify Streams List

American singer Taylor Swift, has secured her place as Spotify’s most streamed artist of 2023.

Data released by Spotify’s 2023 Wrapped indicated she garnered a whopping 26.1 billion streams to take the first spot.

Most of her streams cames from her 2022 album Midnights which was the second most streamed album around the world. Her 2019 album Lover was also widely patronzed on the platform, placing. seventh in the album category.

For songs, Swift who recently made Billboard Awards history had Cruel Summer and Anti-Hero gsixth and 10th on the most streamed songs globally chart.

Taylor Swift dethrones Bad Bunny

Swift’s impressive performance brought and end to the dominance of Bad Bunny who had emerged as the most streamed artist on Spotify in the past three years.

The Puerto Rican singer’s 2022 hit album Un Verano Sin Ti was the Spotify’s most streamed album with 4.5 billion listens.

She also beat Drake, SZA, Travis Scoot, Feid, and others in the top 10.

Most-Streamed Apple Music Artist of All Time

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift continues to smash records, hitting new Apple Music milestones to cap a successful year.

Swift was crowned Apple Music’s Artist Of The Year as well as most-streamed female artist ever this year. She also notched the platform’s largest album debut by a woman with her record-shattering release “Midnights.”

Beyond streaming numbers, Swift’s songs have dominated Apple’s Global Daily Top 100 rankings. An unprecedented 12 different tracks from “Midnights” have led the influential chart.
