Taylor Swift and Drake are now tied for the most Billboard Music Awards wins in the history of the show.
The two music stars have each won 39 awards, making them the most awarded recipients in Billboard Music Awards history, a significant achievement for both artistes.
Swift was already the top female winner of all time with 29 wins heading into the 2023 ceremony. Her current tally of 39 includes this year’s wins for top female artiste, top artiste, and top Billboard global artiste.
Drake came into this year’s awards with 34 and won five more, including top rap touring artiste and top rap male artiste.
The Billboard Music Awards are determined by performance metrics on the year-end Billboard charts from November 19, 2022, through to October 21.
