Sensational Ghanaian Afrobeats and Dancehall Act, Shatta Wale, is delighted to be the cover artiste of a new Afro-Dancehall playlist released by music streaming platform, Audiomack (Africa).

The playlist made available on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, is a compilation of the top 50 Afro-Dancehall bangers from across the continent.

Shatta Wale, expressing appreciation on his X (Twitter) account sent “a big shout” out to the Audiomack Africa team for the “love and support.”

The acknowledgment follows the release of the Bulletproof hitmaker’s much-anticipated Incoming single, which is already gaining some traction online, and tops the newly compiled playlist on Audiomack.

The record featuring Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tekno, is a track off Shatta’s upcoming KONEKT Album.

As expected, the mid-tempo song is generating some buzz among some ‘Shatta Movement’ fans after it premiered on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

The On God hitmaker has described the melody as “the beginning of many good things to come from the KONEKT album.

Although Incoming is not a danceable tune, some fans have described it as refreshing, saying Shatta Wale never “disappoints.”

The Afro-Dancehall compilation has irresistible songs including Tonight by Nigeria Patoranking; Into The Future by Ghana’s Stonebwoy; Lumba by Uganda’s Wyclef Cabana and a host of other exciting talents.

Shatta Wale, born Nii Armah Mensah Jr, was recently adjudged Artiste of the Year at the Taabea Ghana Music Awards-UK 2023.

He also won the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year award at the same event, beating stiff competition from Epixode and Stonebwoy.

In the midst of the recognition, he has been the talk of the town in the past weeks after he settled on a new girlfriend called Maali.

He took to social media to celebrate his new love and also shower gifts on the social media personality who celebrated her birthday recently.
