Rick Ross, the rap mogul and entrepreneur, is not afraid to get his hands dirty when it comes to transforming his $35 million mansion in Miami Beach.

The hip-hop star, who goes by the nickname “Boss the Builder”, has been sharing videos and photos of his massive renovation project. He has given fans a glimpse of his vision and progress.

Ross bought the 40,000 sq. ft. property, which is located on the prestigious Star Island, last year for a reported $37 million.

The lavish estate, previously owned by former NBA player Amar’e Stoudemire, features a games room, a 40-foot dock, an in-ground pool, a pool table and plaza deck terraces. However, Ross apparently had bigger plans for the house, as he decided to gut it and rebuild it from scratch.

Rick Ross wants to add more value to $37m mansion

In a clip posted online on Wednesday, Ross wears a hard hat, a high-vis jacket and wields a pick axe. He introduces himself as “Boss the Builder” and says:

“Morning glory. It’s Boss the Builder. The day, it’s complete. We got a lot of champagne moments but right now we gotta lotta work to put in.”

He then proceeds to show the viewers the extensive construction work being done on the property, with debris, dust and machinery everywhere.

Rick Ross explains that he is adding a new wing to the house, expanding the pool area, building a spa, a gym, a basketball court and a recording studio.

He then added that once the renovation is complete, the house will be worth a whopping $50 million. That will make it one of the most expensive and luxurious homes in Miami Beach.

Ross, founder of Maybach Music Group label and owner of other Wingstop franchises, is no stranger to real estate investments.

He also owns a 235-acre estate in Georgia, which he bought from boxer Evander Holyfield in 2014 for $5.8 million.

The property has 109 rooms, 12 bedrooms, 21 bathrooms, a bowling alley, a movie theater, and a lake. It has been used as a filming location for movies such as “Coming 2 America” and “Superfly”.

Rick Ross’ ex Tia Kemp accuses him of

There is an ongoing drama between Rick Ross and his ex Tia Kemp, and it is heating up.

Kemp, who shares a son with the rapper, has been blasting him and his current girlfriend, Cristina Mackey, on social media for weeks.

She claims that Ross has been neglecting their child and that Mackey is a gold digger who is using him for his money.

But Kemp didn’t stop there. She also dragged Ross’ friend and collaborator, Gucci Mane, into the mix, alleging that Ross had an affair with Gucci’s wife, Keyshia Ka’Oir, while Gucci was in prison.
