Embattled Hollywood actor Jonathan Majors appears to be going through hell since his trial with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, who accused him of assault, started.

Jonathan Majors has been convicted of abusing his then-girlfriend after an incident in March. Grace testified in court that she suffered a fractured finger, bruises, a cut behind her ear, and “excruciating” agony. Majors now faces up to a year in prison, with his role in upcoming Marvel films in limbo and other projects also pulling out.

Here are five projects that Jonathan Majors has been dropped from:

Brands

Majors and Italian design brand Valentino “mutually agreed” that he would not attend this year’s Met Gala as a guest. The baseball team, the Texas Rangers has also dropped Majors from their next commercial campaign, which was set to debut on April 21.

Movies and TV projects

Jonathan Majors was set to star in and produce an upcoming movie titled The Man in My Basement – a role he has since dropped while the role as the lead character is being recast.

Majors was also in talks for an Otis Redding biopic called Otis and Zelma, although he is no longer being considered for the role.

Jonathan resumed his role as ‘Kang’ in Marvel‘s Loki season two, starring Tom Hiddleston, and appeared in the series finale on November 9, 2023. However, Marvel is said to have decided that the MCU’s future, which revolved around Kang being the next main villain, be changed.

Pro Bono

Majors is stepping down from the board of the Gotham Film and Media Institute and its Sidney Poitier Initiative due to the assault lawsuit against him.

United States Army

The renowned actor was the face and narrator of two big US Army recruitment advertisements that debuted during the NCAA’s March Madness collegiate basketball tournament.

In a statement shared on March 26, the Enterprise Marketing Office said that the Army was aware of Majors’s arrest and was “deeply concerned by the allegations”.

According to the statement, Majors “is innocent until proven guilty; prudence dictates that we pull our ads until the investigation into these allegations is complete.”

Hollywood Agencies

Majors’ entertainment agency, Entertainment 360, has dropped him off their roster. It was previously rumoured that the Lovecraft Country singer has also severed ways with his old public relations firm, the Lede Company. According to Variety, a person familiar with the PR agency revealed that the actor was dropped as a client last month.
