Rapper and business mogul Diddy, formerly known as Puff Daddy, has taken a fresh approach in the hopes of convincing a judge to dismiss a lawsuit accusing him of engaging in gang rape.

The music mogul has now claimed to be a victim of “cancel culture.”

A Jane Doe claimed that former Bad Boy President Harve Pierre forced her to give him oral sex in a Detroit washroom before travelling to Diddy’s Daddy’s House studio in New York City. When they came, she said she had been raped by Pierre, Diddy, and an unnamed male.

Diddy filed a lawsuit against Jane Doe on February 23. In the paper, the 54-year-old called the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Act “unconstitutional,” arguing that it infringes on his rights.

Diddy and his team think that the charges against him have “caused irreparable harm to the defendants’ reputations.”

Jonathan Davis, Diddy’s lawyer, said: “The lawsuit…has resulted in them becoming victims of the ‘cancel culture’ frenzy in the courts – well before any evidence has been presented, and on the basis of rank, uncorroborated allegations.” Davis also contended that the suit is “time-barred” since it allegedly occurred in 2003, and the statute of limitations expired in 2010.

The latest lawsuit follows a series of charges against the Love Records founder made by ex-girlfriend Cassie. Although their lawsuit was resolved within 24 hours of the announcement, additional women have come forward with their own allegations against Diddy.
