Following raids at Sean Diddy Combs’ homes in New York and Miami, as part of the ongoing investigation into allegations of sexual abuse, the music mogul’s lawyer has referred to the act as a gross misuse of military-level force.
Describing the raid as an ambush involving both federal authorities and the media, Aaron Dyer, Diddy’s lawyer argued that the act was nothing short of a coordinated witch hunt. The incident, which stole all the headlines in the last 36 hours, generated much confusion about what was happening.
The allegations and consequent investigations have led to a large media presence outside of Diddy’s home, and Dyer isn’t too excited about the development.
“…there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences,” the statement explained. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.”
Per reports from some social media circles, the music mogul has been restricted from flying. Others claim he flew to Antigua as a means to escape from the law.

However, it has been established that he isn’t on the run, and Homeland Security has informed him he isn’t under arrest. Electronic devices were nonetheless taken away from him for further investigation.
It was earlier reported that Diddy had sold his remaining stake in Revolt TV to a buyer who is presently anonymous.
According to a report by TMZ, he sold his shares for an undisclosed sum, though it remains Black-owned.
There are however plans for an announcement of their arrival in the coming weeks. As previously reported, Sean Combs in November 2023, relinquished his role as Chairman of Revolt TV, amid a flurry of allegations relating to sexual assault.
