The Hip-Hop world has been set ablaze by Kendrick Lamar’s diss track Euphoria, aimed at Drake. Harlem rappers Cam’ron and Ma$e have shared their thoughts on the ‘beef’.

Speaking on their show, It Is What It Is, the two who have transitioned into sports personalities agreed that Drake is currently leading the battle.

Ma$e praised Drake’s recent diss tracks Push Ups and Taylor Made Freestyle, stating that Drake is definitely winning from an MC standpoint. He expressed that the wait for Kendrick’s response was long and when you wait, the result needs to be extraordinary.

Cam’ron, also known as Killa Cam, added that while Euphoria did not move him, he acknowledged that it was not a bad record. He expressed his expectation for meaningful lyrics from Kendrick and felt the song took too long to come out.

The rappers discussed the nature of the beef between Kendrick and Drake, with Cam’ron stating that the stakes aren’t as high as they were during his rap feuds in the ’90s and ’00s. He mentioned that while the current rap beef is entertaining, it lacks the dangerous atmosphere that was present in past feuds.

Drake himself reacted to Euphoria by referencing some of Kendrick’s lyrics in a clip from the 1999 comedy 10 Things I Hate About You that he posted on Instagram. The clip is a clear nod to the part in Euphoria where Kendrick expresses his dislike for various aspects of Drake’s persona.

Drake, through Akademiks, also teased a response to the track. Akademiks read out a text from Drake that hinted at a fiery comeback. As the rap battle continues to unfold, fans eagerly await the next round of diss tracks.

Drake forced by 2Pac estate to take down Kendrick Lamar diss

Meanwhile, Drake’s diss track against Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Made Freestyle, has been removed following legal threats from 2Pac’s estate.

The song, which used artificial intelligence to mimic the voices of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg, was pulled down after the estate of the Dear Mama rapper issued a 24-hour takedown notice.
