The long-running rumor that Cameron Diaz quit acting because of Jamie Foxx’s actions on set have been finally addressed.
Diaz brought up the rumors that Foxx was “making everything miserable” in the background and that this is what made her vow to “never make another movie again.”
The 51-year-old actress dispelled rumors this week by talking candidly about her time working with Jamie on the Netflix action comedy, Back in Action.
Cameron opened up about the drama surrounding the filming of her most recent film and some of the “crazy” rumors that were going around regarding her relationship with Jamie during a guest appearance on Molly Sims’ Lipstick On The Rim podcast.
Months after the incident, the former star of The Holiday opened up about it, saying, “I detest everything that was being said about our set at the time. “You want to yell loudly, ‘What are you talking about?'”

An insider reported back in May that Cameron was prepared to permanently leave the acting business after an awful set experience with Jamie on her first film after an 8-year hiatus.
The insider said at the time that Jamie had a “complete meltdown” on the set, which resulted in the firing of two directors, an executive producer, and his driver.
According to the source, Cameron “hates drama and confrontation,” which is part of the reason she originally retired from the company. This allegedly chaotic behavior sent her over the edge.
