American rapper and husband of Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, has opened up about the Diamond hitmaker’s next album.
According to A$AP Rocky, Rihanna has been busy putting together her much-anticipated album.
In a video posted on X, fans took photos of the Grammy-nominated rapper as he was asked about Rihanna’s ninth studio album, which she has been teasing for several years.
“She’s working on it!” A$AP said with a wide smile as he walked away. This, of course, elicited instant yells of delight from those assembled around him.
In December, while at a Fenty x Puma event to promote her brand’s collaboration with the athletic wear firm, the nine-time Grammy winner used her experience to dodge queries about the follow-up to her most recent album, 2016’s Anti.

Rihanna had indicated that the R9 album would be released just a few years after Anti. While the new album has yet to be released, the award-winning singer has been active in recent years. She and Rocky have been dating for some years and have two small boys, RZA and Riot Rose.
Rihanna recently released two new songs for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever album in late 2022: Lift Me Up, a memorial to the late Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman, and the ballad Born Again.
Lift Me Up peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning a Grammy award for Best Music Written for Visual Media and an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song.
