Nigerian singer and songwriter Burna Boy made headlines when he performed his hit “Sittin’ On Top of the World” alongside Brandy and 21 Savage at this year’s Grammy ceremony – and it seems the surprises keeps coming from the ‘African Giant’.

Grammy Award-winner is widely credited with popularizing Afrobeats music globally. His most recent achievement is when he brought his I Told Them tour to a sold-out State Farm Arena on March 9 in Atlanta and ended the concert surprising his audience with a special guest appearance by music legend Toni Braxton.

The two entertainers captivated the crowd with a performance of Burna’s hit song Last Last, causing fans to go wild.

While Burna’s version reached No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 and dominated various music charts, Braxton’s original song He Wasn’t Man Enough which Burna Boy sampled peaked at No. 2 and achieved the 10th spot on the 2000 Year-End chart.

Their joint performance showcased the magic of Last Last, a song deeply influenced by Braxton’s 2000 hit. Burna’s incorporation of classic R&B elements into his music is evident, as demonstrated by his previous use of a Brandy sample in Sittin’ On Top Of The World last year.

Burna Boy has openly acknowledged Braxton’s significant 60 percent share in royalties from the sample, underscoring his admiration for the Grammy Award-winning artiste.
