Grammy-winning singer Tyla has reacted to recent speculation about her relationship status, clarifying that she is not dating Chris Brown.
Rumors emerged after Tyla and Chris Brown were photographed together at her birthday party on January 30. Their close posing sparked questions if they were romantically involved.
However, Tyla shut down the dating rumors, asserting her single status while celebrating her first Grammy win for Best African Music Performance.
“Anyone I’m seen with, I’m dating that person. I don’t know why, but I’m very single,” Tyla told Jason Lee on the Grammys red carpet on Sunday.
Tyla and Chris Brown’s close working relationship
Though not dating, Tyla has worked professionally with Brown in the past. She opened for him on tour in Europe in 2023, calling it great performance bootcamp experience.
