As the Drake and Kendrick Lamar rap beef continues, more people are weighing in, the latest being the late Tupac Shakur’s brother, Mopreme Shakur.

As previously reported, Drizzy and Lamar both threw jabs at each other in their latest songs which led to more petty moves online.

After coming across the AI version of another Kendrick Lamar diss record, Drizzy decided to create one of his own. However, he incorporated the voices of Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg into his ongoing feud using artificial intelligence. Predictably, it sparked controversy and even drew criticism from Tupac’s brother, Mopreme.

Speaking to TMZ Hip Hop, Mopreme expressed his disapproval of Drake’s use of an AI-generated Tupac voice that he weaponized all for a rap battle.

He emphasized that he supports a fair one-on-one battle without external aids or influences. While acknowledging Kendrick Lamar’s status as a West Coast legend inspired by Tupac, Mopreme recognized Drake’s attempt to provoke a little reaction.

Now although Mopreme is appreciative of the artistry of Kendrick, J. Cole, and Drake, he stressed how important it is to preserve Tupac’s legacy and voice respectfully.

Furthermore, he expressed concern that the use of AI could blur the lines between the artificial and authentic representations of Tupac for younger generations.

In other news, Suge Knight has stirred up controversy by pointing fingers at Snoop Dogg for the tragic end of 2Pac, while also expressing his disapproval of Drake’s latest AI diss track.

In a recent episode of Collect Call With Suge Knight, he criticized Drake’s use of artificial intelligence which included the likenesses of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg in his song Taylor Made Freestyle.

He said, “Putting him on a song and dissing Kendrick Lamar for everybody’s entertainment isn’t the way to go.

Furthermore, Knight went on to share his thoughts on head Snoop’s voice on Drizzy’s track. He continued saying, “Then putting him on a song with Snoop, who was a part of his downfall and exit, ain’t ever a good look,” Knight added. “Pac was a king on that chessboard. He never was a pawn, so he can’t make him be a pawn now.”

He went on to warn Drake about left this can go if his LA gang affiliates in Los Angeles feel some type of way.

Knight’s accusations against Snoop Dogg extend beyond the recent incident, as he previously hinted at Snoop’s potential involvement in 2Pac’s death. In a previous podcast episode, Knight raised questions about Snoop’s actions on the night of 2Pac’s fatal shooting in Las Vegas. He expressed his desire for a direct conversation with the rapper to address these concerns while trying to seek clarity.

The former Death Row Records mogul also mentioned Snoop allegedly advising rapper Daz Dillinger not to accompany the Death Row crew to Vegas on the night of September 7, 1996, suggesting that Snoop had prior knowledge of impending events.

Snoop Dogg has not yet responded to Suge’s latest comments but he did react to hearing his voice on Drake’s new AI track.
