American singer, Taylor Swift, has lots of gratitude for anyone who listened to her song this year. Indeed, 2023 has been a year of wins and triumphs for the unstoppable performer who has been named Spotify’s Top Global Artist.

The Blank Space singer, also the biggest female winner at the just-ended Billboard Music Awards, is somewhat yet to come to terms with the latest Spotify title, which she considers unbelievable.

She has thanked her fans nonetheless, saying the recognition is the best birthday gift she could have received.

“Um ok this is unreal?? I just wanted to say to anyone who listened to my music this year, anywhere in the world, thank you. Getting named Spotify’s Global Top Artist in 2023 is truly the best birthday/holiday gift you could’ve given me. We’ve seriously had the most fun this year out there on tour and now this. Are you serious.”

“So I was trying to think of a way to thank you, and a lot of you have been asking me to put “You’re Losing Me (From The Vault)” on streaming…so here you go! You can finally listen everywhere now,” she wrote on her X (Twitter)

Swift, who is on her Eras Tour also described her recent trip to Brazil as something she had been dreaming of for years, thanking her crew who continue to make the shows successful.

“Bringing a tour to Brazil has been something I’ve dreamt of for years, and those fans blew my expectations away. We’ve officially wrapped up the 2023 Eras Tour and we got to end the year with 6 shows in Rio and São Paulo, with the most magical crowds…”

“To the people who came to see it, you are what made those stadiums feel so alive and electric and unforgettable for me. Really just feeling so proud and moved by what I got to be a part of. See you in 2024,” she wrote in appreciation.

The Eras Tour is described by Taylor as a journey through all of her musical “eras” and is considered the “most expensive” tour yet. In addition to other nominations, her record Anti-Hero and the album Midnight are competing for Record of the Year and Album of the Year respectively, at the 2024 Grammys.

She is currently No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Artist List and has collaborated with other musicians apart from her own songs.

Swift won nine awards at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, including Video of the Year for “Anti-Hero” and received six nominations at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. Other accolades include an Emmy Award and American Music Awards.
