Taraji P. Henson To Host 2024 Edition Of “Time’s 100 Special” Set To Air On ABC

Every year, Time Magazine names 100 notable people who are changing the world and their fields, which include business, politics, entertainment, sports, and more.

Actress Taraji P. Henson will host the star-studded 18th annual event, which is scheduled to air on ABC.

Time Magazine unveiled its Time100 list last week in addition to the four global covers of the magazine, each of which highlighted a member of the publication’s upcoming class of leaders. Each special issue features covers by Taraji P. Henson, Patrick Mahomes, Yulia Navalnaya, and Dua Lipa.

On Time’s 100 list of 2024’s most influential people, include Fantasia Barrino, Jeffrey Wright, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and others.

Time CEO Jessica Sibley stated: “The influence recognized on this year’s Time 100 list of the world’s most influential people spans industries and continents. We are honored to bring the newest Time100 community members together with our Time100 partners for a day of discussion at the Time100 Summit and for our annual Time100 Gala, which will once again bring viewers inside with an ABC primetime special”.

A primetime TV special titled Time 100: The World’s Most Influential People will premiere on May 12 after the gala in New York on April 25.

Prominent attendees confirmed for the gala include Kelly Robinson, Maya Rudolph, Patrick Mahomes, and 21 Savage. Fantasia Barrino and Dua Lipa are expected to perform.

Leslie Odom Jr., Joy Randolph, Burna Boy, Colman Domingo, A’ja Wilson, and other notable individuals are also listed on the Time100 list.
