Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, known in real life as Livingstone Etse Satekla, has warmed lots of hearts with the love he showed fellow countryman and West Ham United player, Mohammed Kudus.

The Into The Future crooner was in London for the Ghana Music Awards UK and decided to watch the English Premier League fixture between West Ham and Newcastle on  October 8, 2023, to support Ghanaian footballer and recently signed West Ham United player, Mohammed Kudus.

Prior to the match, the Ghanaian dancehall star predicted a 3-1 win for West Ham United with Kudus scoring two goals.

The former Ajax and Nordsjælland player is one of the promising stars of Ghana’s senior national team having trended as one of the best players of the 2022 FIFA World Cup that was held in Qatar. Kudus has earned his place as the third Ghanaian national to play for West Ham following the footsteps of John Paintsil and  Andre Ayew. The explosive player is recorded to be the second most expensive Ghanaian player in the EPL after Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey.

Stonebwoy was seen in a video sharing his 3-1 prediction win in favor of West Ham United in the match played at the London Olympic Stadium.

The CEO of Burniton Music Group was recorded in a wild celebration after Kudu’s first English Premier League goal. The West Ham midfielder scored a late 89th-minute equalizer as the match ended in a 2-2 stalemate.

West Ham United posted on their official X page (formerly Twitter):

“Stonebwoy is in the building.”

There were diverse reactions to the tweet and the video of the Sobolo hitmaker at the stadium during the match. The recognized Ghanaian dancehall artiste has stated how he is a huge fan of Mohammed Kudus.

Similarly, Kudus has been spotted a number of times stating Stonebwoy’s music as a source of inspiration.  The Black Stars midfielder gave a list of his favorite songs from the 2015 BET International Act winner for the African category which he urged his fans to listen to. The list included My Name, Run Go, Strength and Hope, Where is the Love and Come From Far.

In a post-match interview, the Ghanaian international expressed how it felt “good to score that goal.” He also commented:

‘Most importantly, it made a difference for the team, which was us getting a point. Even though we wanted three points, I was happy to score my first Premier League goal, and it was important that we got a point out of it.’

Stonebwoy disclosed his intention of getting a tattoo of the Hammers on his hand and urged West Ham manager, David Moyes to start the midfielder in their upcoming English Premier League games.

Afrobeats+ earlier reported that Ghanaian professional footballer, Mohammed Kudus, has taken Afrobeats into the world of football by celebrating his first English Premier League (EPL) goal with Ghanaian Afrobeats singer King Promise’s hit song, Terminator.

Kudus, who plays his professional football with English side, West Ham United Football Club, on Sunday, October 8, 2023, scored his first EPL goal against Newcastle United.

After his goal, Mohammed Kudus ‘teamed ‘linked’ up with his teammate and Captain of West Ham United, Kurt Zouma to do the viral dance trend for the Terminator song. The two delivered the dance routine seamlessly, as though they had been rehearsing for this moment in training.
