The Women’s National Basketball Association’s (WNBA) official underwear partner is now Skims, according to the brand’s co-founder and co-director, Kim Kardashian.

The WNBA’s official underwear brand, SKIMS, has debuted a new ad featuring a roster of some well-known female basketball players.

The WNBA players who stripped down in the new campaign included Dijonai Carrington, an all-star Kelsey Plum, Skylar Diggins-Smith, and Candace Parker, who was selected second overall by Cameron Brink.

Famous photographer Hugh Wilson shot the photos and featured these gifted women wearing the brand’s signature Fits Everybody underwear range.

Kim Kardashian stated during the launch that the SKIMS brand is rooted in inclusivity, representation, and women’s empowerment, which are also values shared by the WNBA.

She also stated “championing women and women in sports is important to SKIMS. The brand is thrilled to be the league’s official underwear partner, and we look forward to working with you all season long.”

Dijonai Carrington of the Connecticut Sun, who set career highs the previous season, is participating in the campaign.

“I absolutely love SKIMS, and I’m thrilled to be a part of this campaign,” Carrington said.

“Skims is the ideal brand for me, from travel days to postgame because the Fits Everybody underwear is incredibly soft and light, and I’m really infatuated with SKIMS for daily use.

The WNBA icons and stars in this new campaign serve as evidence of SKIMS’s ongoing dominance in the sportswear industry.

Other players, including NBA player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, were featured in the ad.

The SKIMS Fits Everyone collection features forms that conform to the body for a seamless appearance and second-skin sensation, making it ideal for all-day comfort and support.

The line, which is currently available in over 20 styles and 10 colorways, is a testament to the brand’s dedication to diversity and creativity.

The viral marketing from SKIMS has taken over the internet since the company announced its relationship with USA Basketball, the NBA, and the WNBA last fall.

The brand has previously worked with the men’s sports teams. Skims was in charge of creating Team USA’s official loungewear, pajamas, and underwear for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

Furthermore, Kim announced the debut of Skims’ first men’s underwear launch a few days before the partnership’s announcement, expressing her pride in Skims’s cooperation with the NBA.

She stated, “It is a reflection of the brand’s growing influence on culture. Through fashion, athletics, and skill, SKIMS and the NBA will bring individuals from all backgrounds together, and I’m excited to see this relationship succeed.”
