Rick Ross has extended an unusual invitation to Drake. Ross has asked Drake to be his neighbor on the luxurious Star Island.

On Wednesday, April 17, Ross took to his Instagram Stories to showcase his wealth and the ongoing construction at his mansion in the upscale Miami Beach neighborhood. He revealed that a vacant lot beside his property sells for $37 million.

Ross expressed his pride in purchasing a $35 million property, tearing it down, and rebuilding it according to his preferences. He referred to this as his dream home. He then pointed out the empty lot next door, stating it was available for $37 million. He suggested that Drake, or any of his wealthy friends, might be interested in becoming his neighbor.

Ross then gave his followers a brief tour of his house, which was undergoing extensive renovations. In the background, he played “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” by Birdman and Lil Wayne, a subtle dig at Drake’s former label head, Birdman.

Ross has previously alleged that Birdman’s house went into foreclosure a few years ago and that he has been struggling financially ever since. He taunted Drake for not helping Birdman, despite their close relationship. Ross’ claims seem to hold water, as Birdman was reportedly evicted from his Miami Beach mansion in 2018 for failing to meet his mortgage payments. He sold the property for $10.85 million, almost $5 million less than he originally paid.

Ross continued his tirade by challenging Drake to prove his wealth by helping Birdman. He gave Drake a 48-hour deadline to purchase a property worth $40 million on Indian Creek or $50 million on Star Island.

Despite their history of collaboration, Drake and Rick Ross have had a falling out recently. This was triggered by Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” which contained jabs at Drake and J. Cole. After Ross seemed to side with Lamar, Drake retaliated with a diss track titled “Push Ups (Drop & Give Me 50).”

Ross responded with Champagne Moments, where he accused Drake of undergoing plastic surgery, using ghostwriters, and blocking a song they recorded with French Montana. The two have been exchanging barbs on social media ever since.
