Rick Ross has reignited his longstanding feud with Drake by provocatively updating the cover art for his track Champagne Moments.

The new artwork, visible on major streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, replaces the previous black-and-white image of a man resembling Drake with a cartoon depiction of the rapper sporting blond hair and a bow tie.

Fans have quickly voiced their displeasure with the new cover, labeling it a “downgrade” and “cringe-worthy” on social media.

The original artwork featured a yearbook photo of a white man who looked strikingly similar to Drake and seemed to resonate more with listeners.

The track, released in April, has Rick Ross launching a series of verbal assaults on Drake, specifically targeting his mixed heritage and alleged cosmetic surgeries.

Rick Ross uses the song to criticize Drake’s background and his supposed efforts to alter his appearance, mocking him for having a nose operation and accusing him of trying to hide physical changes.

He does not stop there. He also mocks Drake for purportedly undergoing plastic surgery and choosing particular outfits to conceal his physique.

The feud between the two rappers reportedly escalated over a cease and desist letter sent by Drake to French Montana concerning a feature. Ross revealed that the fallout was sparked by this legal move, which he saw as a betrayal.
