Rema‘s Rave and Roses (Ultra) album, released in April 2022, has been certified gold in the United States.

The album attained this status after selling 500,000 digital units. It is said to be the only album after Wizkid’s Made in Lagos to have reached this milestone.

It has also recorded many successes since its release, including being rated among the top Afrobeats albums of 2023.

The original album was released in March 2022, and a deluxe version was announced in April 2023, called Rave and Roses Ultra. Its standard version had 17 songs, while the extended version (ultra) had six additional songs.

Rave and Roses Ultra has songs including chart-topper and award-winning Calm Down ft Selena Gomez. The rest are Reason You, Dunno Me, Charm, HOV  and Holiday.

The album’s standard version has Divine, Hold Me  Soundgasm, Dirty, Time n Affection, Calm Down (original) and many others.

Rave and Roses reached No. 3 on the Billboard World Albums Chart in 2023 and also performed remarkably in countries including Belgium, Canada, and Nigeria in 2022.

Rema and Selena Gomez’s Calm Down reached 700 million streams on YouTube as of November 7, 2023.

The singer, who has swept many awards, including the Billboard Music Awards for Best Afrobeats, is on a long break throughout December. He announced the cancellation of all scheduled shows during the festivities, saying he needed to attend to his health.
