TLC’s Chilli is officially a grandmother, following the birth of a baby girl by the wife of her first son, Tron Austin.
Austin’s wife, Jeong Ah Wang, gave birth to the child on Saturday, March 2, 2024, and the couple took to Instagram to announce the news and share pictures of the baby, LUA婁娥, and the hospital “where their angel was born.”
Austin opened up on the intense moments leading to the birth of their child and recalls Wang having to have an emergency C-Section. This sent the parents-to-be into an anxious frenzy, but as Austin expressed, “God always has His plan first.”
“On this day March 2nd, 2024 at 1:59 pm 6.173 LBS/2.8kg, an angel from heaven was born, our beautiful daughter LUA婁娥,” Austin typed. “We are officially parents!! So let me tell you guys something, she was scheduled for March 6th on a Wednesday but nope she wanted to come sooner! This morning my wife’s water broke at 7 am and we immediately got packed as soon as we could and headed to the hospital which is a hour and thirty minutes’ drive from where we are btw.”
Austin went on to reveal that the C-Section happened at 1 pm and the parents were anxious and nervous. He went ahead to express appreciation for his wife’s bravery and courage.
He added that he is excited at the prospect of starting a family with his wife after meeting and dating her almost six years ago on September 22, 2018.
Austin mentioned that his wife’s pregnancy was confirmed in September 2023, a development the couple consequently informed the world about through Instagram.
In the post, they predicted that their daughter, Luna Wang Austin, is likely to be born in March 2024.
Excited by the development, Chilli hopped into the comment section and referred to the news as a “blessing indeed”.
