The Bad Boy Records founder has been seen on the streets of LA amid his growing legal troubles. Footage released by TMZ showed him in high spirits. Dressed in an all-black jumpsuit, he chatted with an unidentified man on a sidewalk in West Hollywood on Wednesday, June 12.
The video captured a relaxed Diddy, who was all smiles and waves despite his serious legal woes when a fan called out to him. He even threw an “L” and prayer hands, showing no signs of stress or concern over his current situation. The hip-hop icon seemed unbothered and content, starkly contrasting the grim allegations he is facing.
Additional footage from the same outing shows Diddy engaging in a friendly conversation with a woman. The two appeared to be having a warm interaction, culminating in a hug. The woman’s identity remains unknown, but she seemed comfortable chatting with Diddy on the sidewalk.
The Cassie backlash and Diddy’s legal woes
Diddy’s public appearance in Los Angeles comes on the heels of intense backlash following the release of disturbing surveillance footage from 2016. The footage, which surfaced last month, showed Diddy physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel hallway.

In response to the video, Diddy took to social media to offer an apology, labeling his actions as “inexcusable” and mentioning that he sought professional help afterwards.
Before the footage, Diddy had been facing multiple sexual misconduct allegations across several civil cases. Those allegations have led to federal raids on his Los Angeles and Miami homes. His lawyer has dismissed the raids as a “witch hunt” driven by baseless accusations.
Despite the mounting allegations, Diddy issued a general denial in a December Instagram post, emphatically stating that he did not commit any of the alleged acts and vowed to fight for his name, family, and the truth.
So far, Diddy has not been arrested or charged with any crime, although rumors of a potential indictment have been circulating.
