When Floyd Mayweather made an appearance on The Pivot Podcast, hosted by former NFL stars Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder, and Fred Taylor, the subject of the controversies surrounding hip-hop mogul Diddy came up.

Floyd Mayweather, who has also been once accused of an alleged assault maintained that despite accusations of abuse from several women, he was not going to speak down on Diddy.

“I will not speak poorly of P. Diddy. Since he remains a black man, mistakes happen. And although I’m not sure if it was a mistake, things do happen in life. Additionally, it is Diddy’s business. It’s not my responsibility or anyone else’s to go online and kick and stomp a man while he’s on the ground.

My take on it is: It’s not my business. I don’t think it’s right at all, and I don’t condone it. Even if that happened to my daughter, I would be hurt, but that’s a choice that my daughter made,” the experienced boxer noted.

After Floyd’s comments, Clark interjected to say, “If your son is accused of those things that Diddy was accused of, I’m going to believe in my son in what he says, but I’m going to check with him about that.

“And on the other side that we have to be very careful of, especially when talking about women, is that if those things are true, that wasn’t a decision they made; that’s something that was done to them.

“If those things happened to those women, not only is it not right, it’s also not their fault.”

When Floyd Mayweather’s The Pivot Podcast video made it to X, netizens had a lot to say, check out below for some post comments.

@The_Suntrip noted: “So I see money doesn’t make a person smart or have any morals at all.”

@kmanmma also wrote: “Yall don’t have morals either, tho… only reason why yall even speak on stuff like this is cause yall are messy and think it magically makes you a better person by just being apart of the mix and having something to say”.

@dreamsroman opined: “That’s sad Mayweather so money hungry that he looks past sexual harassment that’s ridiculous to me man & I’m a Floyd fan, but damm bro come on how you say people make mistakes, a man harassing a woman or making her do things against her will ain’t no fucking mistake”.

The founder of Bad Boy Records was initially sued by Cassie, his ex-girlfriend, who claimed that throughout their ten-year relationship, he routinely assaulted her sexually, physically and trafficked her for sex.

The lawsuit however ended up in a swift settlement of an undisclosed amount and Diddy insisted he was innocent.

This was followed by three other women who made similar claims but Diddy denied all of the accusations made against him in a social media statement that he posted, calling them “shakedown attempts.”

“Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character and destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family, and the truth,” the music mogul stated.
