According to The Mirror, Meghan Markle took the initiative to reach out to Princess Kate when her husband, Prince Harry, made a quick trip to the UK.
The journey followed the worldwide announcement that King Charles had been diagnosed with an as-yet-unidentified form of cancer.
According to the outlet, Meghan made contact with Princess Kate and is reportedly making moves behind the scenes. She has also reportedly made contact with the King.
“Meghan Markle has contacted Kate and Charles” following their recent health scares, an insider told US Weekly. Therefore, efforts are being made to make amends. Meghan is supporting Harry in all of this, and she wishes the royals—Kate included—the very best.”
Despite never being particularly close, Kate and Meghan were friendly with each other. The news outlet claimed that while Princess Kate”won’t meddle” in her husband Prince William’s still-seemingly tense relationship with Harry, she is “open” to reconciliation and “willing to move forward.”
