As the twentieth anniversary of sensational group Destiny’s Child’s last album, Destiny Fulfilled, draws near, Matthew Knowles has started to reflect on the journey.

He wrote an open letter to Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams praising and remembering their journey together in honor of Women’s History Month.

“It is hard to believe that it has been almost 25 years since we began this journey this June,” said the 72-year-old.

“When you were young teenagers, all you wanted was to be the best in the world, and you succeeded in that goal. I appreciate your confidence in me to assist in planning and executing your incredible journey.”

“On this Women’s Month, I wanted to take a moment to express my admiration for the incredible talent, hard work, and dedication that each of you has poured into your craft,” Knowles went on.

“Beyoncé, Kelly, and Michelle. You are without a doubt the greatest female group of all time because of your unwavering trust in one another and your unrelenting pursuit of perfection. I am incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished, both individually and together. Future generations will continue to be inspired by your legacy for eternity.”

Matthew later denied rumors that the three were no longer together and asked them to get back together.

The father of three said, “Many have gotten it wrong that Destiny’s Child broke up. No, you knew better than that, and you always assumed Destiny’s Child would win the lottery at some point! I hope you eventually come out of retirement.”

Matthew Knowles is an American businessman, lecturer at universities, and record executive. He is most known for having managed Beyoncé and Solange Knowles’ solo careers in addition to serving as manager of Destiny’s Child.
