Controversial musician, Lil Nas X, teased fans with his new song “J Christ” with a cover image that featured him strapped to a cross.

The creator of the hit song Industry Baby has promised to make the “greatest comeback of all time” when his new music is released on January 12; thus far, he has delivered on that promise.

Lil Nas X released the artwork for his new song on Instagram. It featured a picture of him as Jesus on the cross being raised by five people.

“My new single is dedicated to the man who had the greatest comeback of all time J. Christ. 12 January 2023 at 0:00 EST. Show up”, the queer rapper wrote in the post’s caption.

Lil Nas X has come under fire following his announcement that he would be embarking on his “Christian era”.

Robert Stafford, a well-known gospel musician, is his father, and he has given the singer unwavering support throughout his career.

Last year, Lil Nas X responded to critics who called his desire to perform Christian music a gimmick on X. But he is never one to back down from a fight, and his most recent artwork has generated buzz. Nas is accustomed to stirring up controversy and getting people talking about his outrageous behavior.

Lil Nas X went on to share his acceptance letter to Liberty University’s Biblical Studies program.

“Y’all see everything I do as a gimmick. When in reality I’m just an artist expressing myself in different ways,” he wrote. “Whether I’m a cowboy, gay, satanic, or now christian y’all find a problem! Y’all don’t police nobody else art like mine. Y’all hate me because I’m fun cute and petite.”

“Making Christian music does not mean I can’t suck d**k no more,” he said in another tweet.

Lil Nas X new single J Christ is set to release today (January 12) and will live on his forthcoming sophomore album. Here are some comments on His Post on X
