Afrobeats sensation Kizz Daniel has taken his trending single Twe Twe to a new height as he ropes in showstopper Davido for a remix.

The song was one of two brand-new singles released sometime in December 2023 to commemorate his 10th anniversary in the industry, but fans somehow did not expect a remix of the song with Davido anytime soon.

A trendy dance video (challenge) came up last year, as the upbeat record was streamed on multiple platforms. The original record had gathered 28.7 million streams on Audiomack alone, while the remix, released on January 25, 2024, was inching close to one million streams as of January 26, 2024.

Davido has been trending again, especially on X (Twitter) following the powerful verse he delivered on Twe Twe (remix).  Some fans described his part as “the best verse of the year.”

Twe Twe is described as a vibrant and energetic track that draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the Nupe tribe in Nigeria.

Kizz Daniel had previously collaborated with Davido on the song One Ticket, which came with an exciting video sometime in 2019. The thrilling performer is also known for other hit songs, including Buga, and his refined voice, which has been admired by fans in his home country and beyond.

Before producing Twe Twe and its remix, he released the Maverick album with songs like Show You Off, My G, Blood is Thicker, Anchovy, Side Chick, and many others. He has also collaborated with artistes including Wizkid, Falz, Johnny Drille, Tekno and other African stars.
