Black Sherif’s trendy single Kilos Milos made it to number 13 on the Official Afrobeats Chart in the United Kingdom this week, according to an independent monitoring outlet.

This notwithstanding, the tune continues to amass appreciable streaming figures across platforms, recording over three million streams on Audiomack alone.

On YouTube, the official visualizer for the song is inching close to one million streams.

Before this, the song also clinched the No.1 spot in Ghana on Apple Music, Boomplay, Audiomack, and YouTube concurrently for two weeks.

The melody, to a large extent, is appealing to a number of audiences from home and abroad, as fans wait to experience other compositions likely to hit the airwaves from his camp.

On Midnight June 19, the stylish performer released the banger, prompting many followers to jump onto his timeline to stream and appraise the rendition.

In its first few days, the sound gathered some 50,000 streams on YouTube.

The single, as always, captures Black Sherif’s unique voice and deep lyrical content, adopting a mix of live and electronic instruments.

It is described as an introspective piece that highlights the “struggles and triumphs of life”.

The melody arrived months after he announced the trendy hit, Shut Up, which made its debut on the Billboard US Afrobeats Charts in March this year.

With the impressive streaming figures generated to date, fans will be looking forward to other milestones Kilos Milos will attain in the months ahead.

In April, the sensational performer announced the lyrically-packed Shut Up, which gained positive reviews from his fans. Before this, he worked with English-Swedish singer-songwriter, Mabel, on the sonorous rendition titled Zero.

The low-tempo composition, with some hip-hop effects, arrived on February 8, 2024, urging listeners to “ignore drama and heal from trauma.”

In March, Black Sherif’s debut album, The Villain I Never Was, released in 2022 reached 1 billion streams across four platforms. His followers hailed the achievement and encouraged him to keep on releasing more phenomenal records.
