Following a scandalous interview with his former assistant, actor Kevin Hart, has filed a lawsuit against YouTuber Tasha K, claiming that he was the target of an extortion attempt.
Tasha K purportedly threatened to make public an incriminating interview with Hart’s former assistant if he did not give her $250,000.
Based on publicly available information, Kevin Hart has chosen to sue the gossip blogger, alleging that she blackmailed him for a huge payday.
Tasha K allegedly contacted Hart’s team in November stating that they had a damaging interview with one of his former assistants ready and threatened to air the episode if he didn’t give her the money she was requesting
Eventually, Tasha K received a cease-and-desist letter claiming she was not authorized to talk about Hart’s account.

A later excerpt from the previously mentioned interview was posted by Tasha K. on her blog’s Instagram page. This was seen by Hart’s team as a way to rough up the actor, and even go on to release the entire interview if payment was not made.
Hart’s lawsuit states, “You have already engaged in criminal conduct and tortious acts that would entitle Mr. Hart to monetary damages against you should he elect to commence civil litigation regarding this matter. Your exposure to criminal penalties as well as your liability for such monetary damages will increase to the extent that you do not cease now.” In addition, Hart claims that if the interview was made public, his former assistant would also face consequences because she signed an NDA while working for him
Hart’s ex-employee made several shocking revelations about the well-liked comedian in the interview, including the claim that he is a serial cheater.
She claimed Kevin Hart cheated on his wife with an Instagram model, and got a steward on his private jet pregnant, among others. Furthermore, the assistant indicated that Hart was addicted to gambling as well.
