Cam’ron and Ma$e, both rappers turned sports personalities, discussed the feud on their show ‘It Is What It Is’ on Monday, May 6. The weekend was eventful, with four explosive songs fueling the fire.
Cam’ron, also known as Killa Cam, believed that Kendrick Lamar is currently leading the battle. He criticized Drake’s latest song, ‘The Heart Part 6’, interpreting it as a sign of surrender from the Canadian rapper.
According to Cam’ron, Drake’s song wasn’t bad, but the way it ended suggested he was ready to call it quits, which didn’t sit well with him.
Ma$e agreed with Cam’ron’s assessment, praising Kendrick’s songs Meet the Grahams and Not Like Us. He felt these songs should have been released before Kendrick’s initial response record, ‘Euphoria’.

According to Ma$e, Kendrick Lamar picked up speed and delivered what he was supposed to do. He particularly liked ‘Not Like Us’, which he thought should have been released earlier.
Cam’ron also appreciated Not Like Us, especially the upbeat sound that made it a club hit. He compared it to Drake’s Family Matters, played repeatedly in clubs, unlike Kendrick’s Meet the Grahams. However, when Kendrick released an upbeat song, it was played multiple times in clubs, giving him an edge over Drake.
Cam’ron and Ma$e’s stance is a significant shift from last week, when they favored Drake over Kendrick Lamar after their initial diss songs, Push Ups and Euphoria.
They had previously stated that Drake was winning from an MC standpoint. However, they later had to defend their opinions after facing backlash online.
