Kanye West has launched a scathing attack on his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and the school she sends their four children to, calling it a “fake school” that is part of “the system”.

The rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, to demand that Kardashian take their kids out of Sierra Canyon School. Sierra is a private institution in Los Angeles that caters to celebrities and their offspring.

“Kim take my kids out of Sierra Canyon now it’s a fake school for celebrities that are used by ‘the system,’” he posted and deleted.

He also claimed that he was “removed from my dad by the system and the system removed me from my children”, implying that he has limited access to them.

He further accused “the system” of targeting athletes who have their fathers in their lives, saying that they are “harder to manipulate”. He added that his two oldest children, North and Saint, “know they daddy”.

Kardashian, who filed for divorce from West in February 2021 and finalized it in November 2022, has not responded to his allegations.

The reality star and entrepreneur has been sending their children, North, 10; Saint, 8; Chicago, 6; and Psalm, 4, to Sierra Canyon School, which boasts alumni such as Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Willow Smith and LeBron James’ sons Bronny and Bryce.

Kanye West wants his children in his Donda Academy

Kanye West, however, has expressed his desire for his kids to attend his own Donda Academy, a school he founded in honor of his late mother and that focuses on music, art and sports.

This is not the first time that West has publicly criticized Kardashian and her family over their parenting choices. In 2022, he shared a text conversation with her where he told her that she had no say over his “black children and where they go to school”.

He also said in an interview with ABC News Live Prime that he was not invited to his daughter Chicago’s birthday party and only learned of the location from Travis Scott, the ex-boyfriend of Kardashian’s sister Kylie.
