Close sources recently shared with @tmz_tv that the Bad Boyz record label founder, Sean “Diddy” Combs, sought to speak with Kanye West at a recent concert in Los Angeles, but the latter reportedly avoided the interaction.

According to insiders, Diddy was backstage at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles some weeks ago with his entourage to watch Kanye’s performance. Diddy allegedly expressed his desire to chat with Kanye, but sources noted that the Runaway crooner was not eager to engage in the meeting.

The history between the two artistes dates back to 2022 when Kanye accused Diddy of threatening him on behalf of unnamed individuals. This was followed by Diddy criticizing Kanye for selling “White Lives Matter” merchandise. Around that time, Kanye also posted one of their text exchanges, where he accused Diddy of being a “fed”.

In a twist of fate, recent events have put Diddy in the spotlight, with reports of Department of Homeland Security raids on his properties in Los Angeles and Miami.

Allegations of involvement in sex trafficking have also surfaced, leading to a denial of any wrongdoing by Diddy and strong statements from his legal team regarding the nature of the raids.

The I’ll Be Missing You hitmaker’s lawyer has referred to the home raids as a gross misuse of military-level force.

Describing the raid as an ambush involving both federal authorities and the media, Aaron Dyer, Diddy’s lawyer, argued that the act was nothing short of a coordinated witch hunt. The incident, which stole all the headlines in the last 36 hours, generated much confusion about what was happening.

The allegations and consequent investigations have led to a large media presence outside Diddy’s home, and Dyer isn’t too excited about the development.

Per reports from some social media circles, Diddy has been restricted from flying. However, it has been established that he isn’t on the run, and Homeland Security has informed him he isn’t under arrest.

Electronic devices were nonetheless taken away from him for further investigation.
