Rap icon Kanye West has left fans high and dry by not releasing his much-anticipated Vultures 2 album alongside Ty Dolla $ign on its scheduled date.

The follow-up to last month’s Vultures 1 was supposed to drop on Friday, March 8, as announced earlier this year. However, the album remains conspicuously absent from streaming services, leaving fans wondering when they’ll finally get their hands on it.

Kanye addressed the delay by sending an Instagram message to the Ye Fanatics fan account. When asked if Vultures 2 would be available that day, he succinctly replied, “We in the lab.

While this cryptic response doesn’t provide a concrete release date, it does confirm that Kanye and Ty are still hard at work perfecting their collaborative project.

The lack of a promotional rollout for Vultures 2 has raised eyebrows. Unlike its predecessor, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 despite temporary removal from streaming platforms, the sequel seems to take a different approach. Fans have taken to social media to express their frustration, eagerly awaiting any news about the album’s drop.

Kanye’s recent habit of directly messaging fans on social media has become a way to share updates on his creative ventures. Just last month, he clarified that rumors of a new solo album called Y3 were unfounded. “This is fake news,” he asserted. “Ain’t no album called Y3.” Kanye emphasized that he’s not trying to revert to the “old Ye” and highlighted the success of Vultures 1, which boasts the world’s number one song and album.

Details about Vultures 2 remain scarce, but the album promises another star-studded affair. At listening events in Miami and Las Vegas last year, Kanye and Ty teased unreleased material featuring collaborations with artists like Young Thug, Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, Kodak Black, Lil Baby, Bad Bunny, and Charlie Wilson. The anticipation builds as fans eagerly await the next instalment in the VULTURES trilogy.

Kanye West slams Kim Kardashian

Meanwhile, Kanye West recently launched a scathing attack on his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and the school she sends their four children to, calling it a “fake school” that is part of “the system”.

The rapper demanded that Kardashian take their kids out of Sierra Canyon School. Sierra is a private institution in Los Angeles that caters to celebrities and their offspring.

“Kim take my kids out of Sierra Canyon now it’s a fake school for celebrities that are used by ‘the system,’” he posted and deleted.

He also claimed that he was “removed from my dad by the system, and the system removed me from my children”, implying that he has limited access to them.
