Award-winning RnB star Alicia Keys’ Broadway musical, Hell’s Kitchen, has received more than a dozen Tony Award nominations for the 2024 ceremony.

Hell’s Kitchen combines the singer’s iconic work with original and classic songs inspired by her coming-of-age narrative in New York City.

Hell’s Kitchen follows the adventures of Ali, the main character, whose overbearing single mother helps her to retain her rebellious attitude.

“Ali is lost until she meets her mentor: a neighbour who opens her heart and mind to the power of the piano,” a synopsis of the movie read.

Shoshana Bean, Brandon Victor Dixon, Kecia Lewis, Chris Lee, and Maleah Joi Moon lead the mother and daughter’s love tale. Pulitzer Prize finalist Kristoffer Diaz wrote the book for the musical, which is directed by four-time Tony Award contender Michael Greif and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown.
