As the world awaits further information regarding why U.S. Homeland Security agents raided two of Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami, some of the biggest names in hip-hop are weighing in on what appears to be legal trouble for the musician.

Civil lawsuits accusing Diddy of rape, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking have prompted the investigation, some reports have indicated.

“As part of an ongoing investigation, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York carried out law enforcement operations with support from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners,” a spokesperson for Homeland Security Investigations indicated while adding that “we will give more details as they become available.”

Rapper and business tycoon Curtis James Jackson III, better known as 50 Cent, following Diddy’s home raid, stated: “They don’t come like that unless they have a case.”He wrote on his social media.

Suge Knight wrote, “People, the raids today weren’t for Diddy. The purpose was to destroy any evidence that implicated powerful men. #Diddy #Clive Davis #Epstein”.

The founder of Death Row Records used the platform to discuss the circumstances and offer a more extensive conspiracy theory.

American rapper Uncle Luke also expressed his opinion, throwing out the phrase “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.” This was part of his suggestion that the ongoing federal investigation was a result of Diddy suing multi-billion-dollar liquor company, Diageo.

Uncle Luke made the following assertion in a more recent perspective on The Joe Budden Podcast: “Not only is this a wrap, this is about to get much worse,” said Budden. “Even the silence is eerie.”

Combs’ attorney, Aaron Dyer, issued a statement on Tuesday in which he referred to the raids as a “witch hunt.”

“Search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences yesterday, and there was a gross overuse of military-level force,” Dyer stated, as reported by the Los Angeles Times, which also stated that Diddy was still in the country.

“This extraordinary assault, when combined with a sophisticated, well-planned media presence, causes an unwarranted haste to judge Mr. Combs and amounts to nothing more than a witch hunt founded on baseless allegations raised in civil cases. None of these allegations have resulted in a criminal or civil liability finding,” Dyer opined.

Tyrese and rapper Slim Thug are among the artistes who have expressed support for Diddy after his homes were raided calling the founder of Bad Boy Records an “inspiration.”

Slim Thug stated: “I don’t want to see a black man who came so far, almost to a billion dollars, fall down. That serves as our model…They defeated Kanye. At this point, we are losing another billionaire due to allegations. Seeing how many people want to see him go out like this is difficult.”
