Radio personality Charlamagne Tha God claimed that Diddy was behind Wendy Williams’ firing from Hot 97 due to her insinuations about the Bad Boy Records founder’s sexuality.

Speaking on comedian Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant podcast, Charlamagne detailed the tumultuous history between Williams and Diddy, dating back several decades.

Charlamagne asserted that Wendy Williams was dismissed from Hot 97 in 1998 after she suggested Diddy was gay. According to him, Williams allegedly had a photo of Diddy in an intimate situation with another man, which ultimately led to her termination.

In a 2022 interview with The Art of Dialogue, Gene Deal, Diddy’s former bodyguard, also shared insights into Williams’ firing. Deal emphasized Diddy’s power over New York radio stations, explaining that Diddy leveraged this influence to remove Williams from Hot 97.

He claimed the rapper threatened the station with a boycott from his friends and record label executives if they did not fire her.

Diddy’s sexuality

In recent months, rumors about Diddy’s sexuality have been reignited. In a sexual assault lawsuit, producer Lil Rod accused Diddy of groping him and attempting to groom him into having sex with fellow producer Stevie J.

The lawsuit also hinted at Diddy’s alleged sexual relationships with Meek Mill and Usher, although it referred to them indirectly as “a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj” and an R&B singer who “performed at the Super Bowl and had a successful Vegas residency.” Meek Mill has strongly denied these allegations, labeling them “sick.”

Further adding to the controversy, comedian Luce Cannon, during an appearance on the Drinx with Ginx podcast in April, alleged that Diddy had once engaged in sexual activity with Family Matters actor Reginald VelJohnson, who is widely recognized as Carl Winslow.

Cannon described a party scene where he witnessed the encounter, adding that Diddy later boasted about the incident.
