Davido’s mega-hit, Unavailable, has recorded another success, following its recent silver certification in the United Kingdom.

The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) certified the song after it sold 200,000 units. This is, however, not the only achievement of the singer and his chart-topping records.

Unavailable, off the Timeless album, was also the most streamed Afrobeats song in 2023, according to Spotify data. Davido had also reached over 400 million streams on Spotify in 184 countries by the end of 2023.

Later this weekend, he would be expecting to win his first Grammy Award if things go well for him as he features in the Global Music Performance, Best African Music Performance, and Best Global Music Album categories.

By the end of December 2023, singer Davido had earned 14.1 million new listeners, according to Spotify. This “avalanche of achievements” would be complete if his name got registered as a Grammy winner.

He is yet to release his bangers for 2024 but has been trending in the past week after featuring on Kizz Daniel’s new record, Twe Twe.

Currently, he is on an extended version of his Timeless Tour and is set to perform at the Accor Arena in Paris. A few days ago, he returned to the 02 Arena, London, pulling a huge crowd that joined him at the concert.

In 2023, he described the Timeless album as a project that helped him reconnect with his “incredible fans.”
