Nigerian Afrobeat star Davido has stirred emotions online amidst viral reports that he welcomed a set of twins with his wife, Chioma Adeleke.

On Tuesday, October 10, 2023, social media was inundated by reports of Davido welcoming a set of twins in the United States of America on Monday

Davido has not yet confirmed or debunked the information, the reports are gaining ground on social media.

And 30BG boss has left many fans on the edge with a post he recently shared on his page hours after the report of him welcoming a twin went viral.

The singer shared a video of himself rocking a dashing black tuxedo in a hotel lobby. Someone could be heard hailing the singer in the background, calling him Oba Adeleke.

Davido praises Rema for impact in America

Meanwhile, Davido praised the growth Rema in the music industry pointing to the young aristes impact on the American music scene.

According to him, Rema who is the winner of the maiden Afrobeats category at MTV EMAs, has one of the top 5 records in America, and he also happens to be the only Nigerian who has remained consistent for months.

Organizers of the prestigious event announced the introduction of Afrobeats as they released nominations for the awards on Wednesday.

The nominees in the maiden edition of the category are French superstar, Aya Nakamura, and Nigerian singers, Asake, Arya Starr, Burna Boy, Davido and Rema.

Dubbed the I Told Them…Tour, the Live Nation-produced series of concerts will kickstart on November 3, 2023, a flier shared on his official Instagram page indicated.

The two-month break in the tour schedule was not explained but it is understood that Burna Boy will be attending to other engagements within that period.

Already, organizers of Afrobeats music festival, Afro Nation, have announced the African Giant, as some fans call him, as the main star for the December 19-20 event to be held in Lagos.
