In a bid to motivate her fans to aspire to higher heights in life, Cristina Mackey, girlfriend of rapper Rick Ross has generated controversy online.
Taking to Instagram, Mackey shared photos of herself and her new boyfriend, including one in which the pair appeared to be kissing in front of a private jet.
She went ahead to caption the photos with the words: “Use it as motivation,” but the reactions to the photos may not have been what she expected.
Several viewers expressed concerns about how many women Rick Ross has been associated with over the years. Others, according to reports were so extreme that Mackey was compelled to react to the reactions.
“You all are very mean-spirited. Instead of expressing your love for him as the “supporters” you claim to be, and being happy to see 2 beautiful black people genuinely smile — you’re spreading hate.”
She went ahead to accuse some people of being short-sighted and filled with jealousy. This, she went on, causes them to hate others. This, she further noted, makes her wonder why she would pay attention to them, especially after all that she has earned for herself.
These fiery shots compelled someone to wonder why “they don’t care about what the internet thinks” is WILD AF to me….. I’ll never understand it.”
Rick Ross was recently in the news after teaming up with Meek Mill for a new collaborative album titled Too Good To Be True.
While celebrities such as 50 Cent tried to make fun of the pair for the relatively low sales the album made, they remain unbothered.
The music artistes instead expressed excitement over the fact that they have taken complete ownership of their music.
Rick Ross was in the news earlier for gifting basketball legend Shaq a new MMG chain and a pendant. The gift was given to Shaq during a recent appearance on Inside The NBA. Shaq seemingly loved the gift, and said, “I’m gonna kill it at the hookah bar in this,” in a truly classic Shaq response. Adding to the hilarity of the video is how small the larger-than-life Ross looks when standing next to Shaq.
