Cowboy Carter is the official name of Beyoncé’s upcoming country-inspired album, which has been anticipated for weeks.

The album, which will be released on March 29, is the second part of Beyoncé’s “three-act project,” which started with Renaissance in 2022.

After a significant Super Bowl commercial, the album’s title, Act II, was all that was revealed in February. Beyoncé also shared two singles, Texas Hold ‘Em and 16 Carriages which took the whole world by storm.

Beyoncé revealed the album’s title on her website a few weeks after hinting at it in a Verizon commercial that aired during the Super Bowl. In the commercial, she said, “They’re ready; drop the new music.”

As the quick remark went viral on the internet, Beyoncé announced shortly after that her eighth studio album would be released on March 29.

After the two singles were released, Beyoncé’s ninth solo number one, Texas Hold ‘Em, shot to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

More significantly, Beyoncé became the first black female artiste to reach the top of the Hot Country Songs chart when Texas Hold ‘Em debuted at the top of the chart. The song made it to No.33 on the country airplay chart after being added to country radio.

Additionally, Beyonce posted a teaser on social media that hinted at a change in country music. In the video, Beyoncé is seen speeding by a billboard with the slogan Texas! Hold ‘Em and a sign that says, “Radio Texas: 100000 Watts of Healing Power.”

The brief clip features excerpts from Chuck Berry’s Maybellene and the brand-new song by the superstar herself.

Country music star Dolly Parton shared some details in a recent interview with the Tennessee publication Knox News hinting that Beyoncé recorded a version of her iconic song, Jolene.

She continued, “I think it’s probably going to be on her country album, and I’m very excited about that. I cherish her! She is a stunning young woman with amazing vocals.”

Queen Bey took to her Instagram page and posted long tributes to her fans saying ‘’I feel honored to be the first Black woman with the number one single on the Hot Country Songs chart. And she ended by writing ‘’This Ain’t a Country album. This is a “Beyoncé” album. This is Act II COWBOY CARTER, and I am proud to share it with y’all!
