Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy has landed another big collaboration. He is set to feature on the upcoming project of American rapper Lil Durk.

The rapper recently revealed that he was joining forces with the Nigerian star and hip-hop icon J. Cole to create a remix of his hit song, All My Life. The news already sent waves of excitement among fans as they anticipated the tune.

The announcement of the remix came through Lil Durk’s Instagram page, where he unveiled the cover art for the song. The image features an intriguing design that has left fans speculating about what the collaboration would bring. The anticipation surrounding this release has been massive as fans eagerly await what promises to be a powerful and unique musical experience.

The original version of All My Life was something of a departure from Lil Durk’s usual drill style. It featured more introspective production and the surprise element of a young choir lending their vocals to the track. In this song, Lil Durk openly addressed the criticism he has faced throughout his career, adding a personal touch to his music that won over the hearts of his fans who could relate to the lyrics.

Lil Durk and Burna Boy’s song will be fireworks

Lil Durk, born Durk Banks, is known for his energetic and thought-provoking lyrics. He’s made a name for himself in the world of hip-hop and rap with a series of successful albums and collaborations. His albums The Voice, Almost Healed, and 7220 were huge successes. His latest venture is sure to further solidify his position in the music industry as one of the best rappers and introduce his work to a broader audience.

Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, possesses a distinct sound and powerful messages in his songs which have earned him international acclaim and multiple awards.

His collaboration with Lil Durk and J. Cole brings an exciting blend of genres and styles to the remix, promising a track that will captivate fans from various music backgrounds. It is also set to be a big win for Africa and Afrobeats as Burna Boy further solidifies his hold on the international market.

Late Indian rapper Sidhu Moose Wala also inspired Burna

Meanwhile, Burna Boy has named late Indian rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, who was assassinated in 2022 at the age of 29,  as one of his creative inspirations whenever he felt exhausted, music-wise.

In an interview with BBC Radio’s 1XTRA, the 32-year-old revealed he got attracted to Moose Wala’s songs through the fans of the late rapper. After getting to know Wala, Burna was motivated to explore his own sound and push the boundaries of his craft.
