Days after Usher wowed the world with his Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, he is getting ready to develop a TV drama series titled Black Love In Atlanta.

The 45-year-old R&B singer, after his performance, was captured on record as saying he was “just getting started”, and per all indications, he meant it.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show would be produced in partnership with Universal Studio Group’s UCP and is focused, among other things, on individuals looking for a place to call home.

It added that “the series would explore music, style, sex, romance, and the secrets that threaten to tear relationships apart.”

Executive producers, Selwyn Seyfu Hinds, Katie Zucker and Meiselas would form part of Usher’s team on the project.

The news follows the release of Coming Home, the latest album from the eight-time Grammy winner, which dropped on February 9, 2024. The 20-track LP features guest spots from BTS’ Jung Kook, Burna Boy, H.E.R and others. Very likely, it could compete with Kanye West’s Vultures for the top spot on the Billboard 200 in a week’s time.

Usher, a few days ago, married his longtime partner, Jennifer Goicoechea, and the intimate ceremony at a Las Vegas chapel on Sunday, February 11, 2024, was just hours before the Yeah! singer headlined the Super Bowl halftime show with guest performers Alicia Keys, Ludacris, Lil Jon and Will.I.Am.

In other news, Justin Beiber sent a heartfelt message to his longtime pal and early supporter, Usher, after the singer brought down the house during his electrifying show on Sunday.

The all-caps Instagram post featured an iconic image of Usher in his blue and black glittery stage attire at the end of the performance with the message, “LOVE YOU MY BROTHER. NOONE CAN SING AND DANCE THE WAY YOU DO. LOVE YOU FROM THE DEPTHS OF MY HEART.”

Bieber also praised the Atlanta singer for staying true to his roots. “BROUGHT THE “A” TO THE WORLD, ONLY YOU BABYYYYYY 😘”
