Grammy-nominated Nigerian star Asake is entertaining his fans once again with a new single titled Only Me. The Afrosound, his first single this year, was released in line with his 29th birthday, which fell on January 12, 2024.
Only Me is described as a song that “takes the listeners on a journey of love, triumph, and self-discovery.” The singer, as always, projects his uniqueness with his charisma and distinctive vocals.
The song is leading the Apple Music chart in Nigeria and has so far gathered 1 million streams on Audiomack.
Asake, also known as ‘Mr Money With The Vibe’ is set to release his third studio album in mid-2024, according to sources close to him. The singer is also said to have hit 900 million streams on Spotify.
A few weeks ago, his Work of Art album crossed 600 million streams on Audiomack, becoming the first album in the history of the platform to attain such an impressive record.

Apart from the record set on Audiomack, the album had featured on charts in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, ending 2023 at No. 4 on the Billboard World Albums in the US.
As of November 2023, Work of Art had reached 100 million streams on Audiomack. Asake’s rise from a budding artiste to a global sensation has been described as inspiring, as he continues to break new ground in the industry.
