The rap beef between Drake and A$AP Rocky is heating up after the latter responded to the former’s subtle jabs on Kid Cudi’s new album INSANO.
The album, which was released on Friday (January 12), features a track called “WOW” where A$AP Rocky and Kid Cudi team up to deliver some hard-hitting bars.
One of the lines that caught the attention of many listeners was A$AP Rocky’s apparent diss at Drake, who had previously taken shots at him and Rihanna on his For All the Dogs album in October.
A$AP Rocky rapped: “These n-ggas can’t stomach me, gotta go get a mandrake.”
A mandrake is a plant that has been used for medicinal purposes since ancient times, especially for treating stomach ailments. By using this word, A$AP Rocky implied that Drake was sick or weak because of his jealousy or resentment towards him and Rihanna, who have been dating since last year.
