Atlanta is gearing up for a power-packed Invest Fest this year, scheduled from August 23 to 25. The event will feature an impressive lineup of speakers, including renowned rapper and businessman 50 Cent, who is popular for his diverse and successful ventures.

Invest Fest, organized by Earn Your Leisure, aims to combine culture and business. Alongside 50 Cent, the event will showcase influential figures like Steve Stoute, T.I., Wyclef, Will.i.am, Zaytoven, Stephen A. Smith, and Lauren London. These speakers will share their insights and experiences, inspiring attendees to pursue their paths to financial freedom.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has successfully branched out into various industries, including music, liquor, merchandising, film, and television. Given his extensive business acumen and cultural influence, his participation in Invest Fest is seen as a perfect fit.

Recently, 50 Cent unveiled a three-phase initiative for his newly-launched G-Unit Film Studios in Shreveport, Louisiana. This initiative involves significant investments in the local community, starting with revitalizing downtown Shreveport. Working with real estate broker Gerod Durden, 50 Cent has already begun purchasing and renovating commercial properties. The plan includes transforming these properties into entertainment spots, a grocery store, and other community-centric businesses.

Beyond commercial revitalization, the initiative aims to make homeownership more accessible for low to moderate-income families. The G-Unit Film Studios team plans to create more housing units with attainable financing options. Additionally, they are committed to supporting youth by establishing media programs in local high schools. These programs will offer training and mentorship opportunities, fostering a positive environment for young people.

Since partnering with Shreveport, 50 Cent’s relationship with the city’s leadership has been overwhelmingly positive. The collaboration began in November when the city council approved a deal allowing him to lease Millennium Movie Studio as a base for his entertainment company.
